Welcome to part 26 of my 32ish series of posts on awesome 1980s albums. Is it so wrong to be pre-occupied with 1985? The mid 80s were a really good time for pop music.
Back in the 80s few people thought that Donny Osmond would return to the mainstream. However, in 1989 he returned to the pop world, albeit anonymously at first. The story goes that the first single, "Soldier of Love" was released to radio as a song by a mystery singer. However, the song climbed the charts - even appearing in the awesome 90s show Parker Lewis Can't Lose. This was another album that i may have purcased used, to be pleasantly surprised. His 1990 follow up album Eyes Don't Lie was not as good as this album, but decent.
