Welcome to part 30 of my >0 part series on awesome albums of the 80s
The album today is the 1989 self-titled debut album by the group Waterfront. This is kind of an obscure album (only selling 600,000 or so copies worldwide). Apparently, the group broke up after this album and took some time off - apparently they got back together in 1989. US listeners may know the song "Cry" (as it is supposedly nearing 1 million air plays) about a 16 year old girl who was looking all of 21. This is another used/blind buy album - i got it for the song "Cry". At first, a couple of songs stood out - but this album really grew on me.
Notable Singles:
* "Cry"
Other Singles:
* "Nature of Love" - i like this song
* "Broken Arrow"
* "Move On"
Other Songs on the CD:
* "Tightrope"
* "Platinum Halo"
* "Dancing With Strangers"
* "Set You Free"
* "Soul Survivor"
* "Waterfront"
* "Saved"
This (experiment) goes out to someone who thinks he hasn't done anything fun today.

Ok, so that didn't exactly work. The "joke" was that my alleged brother was criticizing me for my abnormal amount of 80s related posts lately. He said "i'm not reading 7 posts in one day". So i kind of recorded some rough audio using Sound Recorder - kind of the audio book version of my post. i will leave this up as a sign of a bad idea. i thought that SkyDrive might give me a link location, not an embed code. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
