Halloween is rapidly approaching again (making me wish I was young enough to get away with Trick or Treating). So, here is a pointless post on candy - specifically the candy I like.
Here is what I would like to see in my bag (if the world weren't so cruel) - nothing white or dark chocolate, the pure sugar stuff (like smarties, bottle caps, etc - I could do without). i am kind of addicted to Gobstoppers though. I could also do without stuff like Charleston Chew.
Some of My Favorites:
* Butterfingers: one of my favorites
* Baby Ruth: in my opinion better than Snickers
* 100 Grand: I like the flavor and texture
* Almond Joy
* Kit Kat
* Twix: the caramel kind
* Heath
* Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
* M&Ms (plain/milk chocolate)
* Lindor (Lindt) milk chocolate
* Ferrero Rocher
* Bills: non-sequential, non-marked, preferably $20s
Ok With:
* Snickers
* Milky Way (there is something about them that is appealing, maybe it is their caramel)
* Crunch
* Hershey Crackle
* Mr. Goodbar
* Payday
* Toblerone
Wouldn't really want to see in Halloween bag (but would still eat):
* 3 Muskateers
* Bottlecaps
* Laffy Taffy
* Pixy Stix
* Sweet Tarts
* Smarties
* Hershey Chocolate
* Milk Duds (though i would still eat them)
* Whoppers (i would still eat these too)
* York Pepermint patties
* Twizzlers (licorice, black licorice sucks)
* Sugar Daddy
* Charleston Chew
What I would not like to see:
* "healty stuff": healthy stuff kind of sucks in the flavor department. Halloween is the #1 candy day, let it live up to it's reputation. Apples? Only if they come with free razor blades
* Toothbrushes/Floss: lame, bordering on inexcusable
