First off, i'm not a fan of Obamacare (affordable care act my keister). This is a disaster of a program from vote to deeply flawed inception and inevitable fiscal cataclysm (no I am not overstating that).
Here is a link to misleading data (a PDF file).

If you think they will make tax credits permanent for policies (I wonder if they are non-refundable tax credits), you might be interested in this bridge I have to sell you. That is just their way of claiming that it costs less, but I don't buy it. The price is what it is offsetting tax credits do not change this. i'm sure confusing conditions will apply (maybe like only if you are not eligible for other types of coverage, like through work).
The absolute cheapest plan in my home state is $264 a month (assuming you can actually get that rate and it's not just a teaser rate). Poor people who can't afford health care, I hope you have an extra $3,200 a year to pay for it.
Obamacare, how do I hate you, let me count the ways....
* Regressive: the people that this was supposed to help (a BS claim by the way) and those a little above the income levels will see this tax (that's right I said tax, just like the misguided Supreme Court) increase their mandatory expenditures. Yes, the government will help you by reducing your personal disposable income (Obamacare has already been directly responsible for rate hikes). Thanks but no thanks.
* Cooked numbers: the numbers they are showing now will be revised higher in the future (maybe 6 months, maybe a year). Make no mistake, the taxpayer will be paying more for this program than they think (lots more).
* The Original Bill: this is the bill that was famously pushed by evil lizards bent on destruction of the US Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. The bill was overly verbose, complex and misleading. i'm not sure if anyone who voted for it still know all of what's in it (not likely). Basically almost everything they touted about this bill as a positive was a lie (or gross exaggeration). There is so much here that the common American doesn't know about this.
* A Solution to a Problem that wasn't significant: they sold this bill saying it would help 30 million or so uninsured people (maybe 10% of the population). It is true health care costs may have increased, but it is not the federal government's role to risk trillions of future dollars on a solution to a problem that really wasn't that important (or big). The irony here being the regressive nature of the mandate.
* Government Overreach: the democrats tried to paint this whole scenario as the government against the evil insurance companies, but I have my doubts about the end goal (and if you thought Prism was a bad thing, this could be used for much, much, much worse purposes). Yes, I take issue to the mandate - requiring someone to pay for a commercial service or fining them (and find it morally reprehensible).
* Not Ready: even if for some reason you support Obamacare, it is not ready. The crash of their website and the numerous problems with exchanges suggest that this should have delayed at least 6 months to work out some of the kinks. I get the feeling that they lowballed capacity to say that "demand" for the product caused crashes.
The IRS will be administering the collection process, everyone loves them and they never go over the line.
There is so much that could have been done with cost cutting in the medical field without any government intervention at all (other than maybe easing restrictions on cross state sales). I hope some providers switch to a discounted cash only system (this could actually lower costs a little).
