The Fall or Autumn (if you're fancy) season is finally almost mercifully here (i hate summer so much). That means one of my favorite holidays is coming up - Halloween. Though, i support changing the seasons by 5 days to make fall a super season (both Halloween and Xmas). There really aren't that many decent Lego Halloween sets out there (and still in print).
Just saying: 1 of these is new, 1 is in a different form than i've showed before, 1 is a Brickheadz (which i think i've shown before), and one is a mini Disney set (Haunted Mansion) an alleged older sister gave to me) that i'm sure i've show before - i guess it could be considered kind of Halloween-y
That is the first entry in the Midnight Valley Collection: Mayor Manor (11383). It was kind of a mediocre build, maybe worth its cost, but not much more (and it was missing one fricking piece). i guess the asymetrical parts look interesting (though just basically, like using a roof for some other sets).
i think some parts are supposed to glow in the dark, but this room has 70s era crap lighting. Lots of dark pieces made reading the directions more difficult for me.
Some people think that this might be Lego's Fall answer to the Winter Village series. i was hoping for a reversion of the Monster Fighter's Vampyre's Castle (maybe next year, for those who have a next year).
Best to ignore the background Blu-ray sets and Kool-Aid: Ghoul-Aid Zom-Berry pouches in the immediate background (thought they were supposed to glow in the dark, best-by was a couple of days ago).
