Just Saying 11

Another Solstice has come and gone.

In this post, we have a LEGO Creator 3-in-1, a LEGO Architecture, and a LEGO Icon set.  i know, kind of light this year, but the two i was most interested in never went on sale (One Piece Going Merry: 75639 and Nintendo Game Boy: 72046).  Not pictured is a 153-piece Creator Series 3-in-One Wild Animals Spider Set (31159, also snake and scorpion) my sister got me for Halloween that i wrapped up for Xmas.

LEGO Creator Series 3-in-1 Haunted Mansion (31167)

736 pieces.  Includes decals/stickers.  This set also came with instructions for a Ghost Train and Pirate Ship.  It comes with 4 minifigures as well (a glow in the dark ghost, a vampiress, Frankenstein's Monster, and a werewolf).

This set seems to be a scaled back revisioning of the out-of-print Monster Fighters: Haunted House set (10228) released in 2012.  i put together this set in time for Halloween, i didn't feel the need for an individual post at the time.  It is a nice look set for Halloween, but a bit pricy for the piece count.

Here's hoping for a Vampyre's Castle (9468) revisioning in 2026...

LEGO Icons: Santa's Post Office (10339)

1440 Pieces. Includes decals/tickers.  It comes with 4 elves and Santa Claus

i wasn't going to get this set, but it was on sale for 20% off.  This set was a return to fantastical (Santa Claus) for the Winter Village Series after the previous 2 sets (now retired).  i cut off a little of the hot air balloon in the picture.  Target and Amazon kind of suck at shipping these types of sets anymore (boxes frequently dented/bent).

LEGO Architecture: Trevi Fountain (21062)

1880 Pieces.  A reversion of the 2014 Set of the same name (21020).  The original came in at 731 pieces.  i had doubts about this initially, since i got the 2014 version used on eBay back in the "pandemic" (as seen in the Just Saying 2 post).  The second image was copied from that post.  An upgrade, indeed.  i actually bought this in March and didn't put it together until January.

This was the first LEGO Architecture set to include a minifigure (the statue in the center above the fountain).  Looks far better than i thought it would.  The box in the back of the image is more to block out the stuff behind it on the table.

LEGO Icons: Medieval Town Square (10332):

3,304 Pieces.  Includes decals/stickers.  This set comes with 8 minifigures (some may technically not classify), a goat, and a cat piece.

After getting the LEGO Ideas Viking Village set last year, i set my sights on this one.  This is usually out of my price range, but i got it at a bit of a discount (still more than i would have liked to pay).

This one took a couple of days to finish.  The Box is in the background, because i wanted use one picture.  It has two main sections (and a tree/swamp between and behind the buildings).  One had 2 attached buildings (the one on the left in the image).  The other consists of two connected sections.
