In today's random musings, i will muse about whatever pops into my head or is annoying me.
* Had to pass a stupid Twitter/X Arkose Challenge. Replying to stupid MMT/UBI types, liars like Robert Reich and Biden are not spamming. Like those accounts don't virtually spam Twitter/X with their inanity? Wish that BS would quit showing up on my timeline. Apparently, they put a flag on my account accusing me of being a spammer or something. Had the account for a few years (i think).
* More movies from the library:
- Fall Guy, such an uneven movie - feels like there was a better movie waiting to come out, but it didn't.
- Chucky Season 3: forgot they had super gay characters in that (could have done without all the gay kissing and the implied sex scene complete with "Relax" - yes that is what the song is really about). Pretty gory
- Watchers: kind of stupid
- Civil War: like CA and TX would ever join sides, they agree on virtually nothing. A movie about "the press" covering war related incidences. Ends with the president getting gunned down. Kirsten Dunst looks old now.
* Halloween is coming... The awful summer (except for the adequate few days with highs in the low 60s) is coming to an end. Good riddance. i love Halloween, i do not love seeing how high candy prices will be. Wish i could have won the lottery and gone on a 5 figure Spirit Halloween shopping spree.
Got to decorate soon, will not be easy getting into the closet where i keep things. Also have to box/tote things up so i can get decorations up. Wish i had more cool decoration (assuming they still make them).
* September/Early October: will be about streaming (last month was Game Pass), i think Hulu expires in October. Lots of episodes of One Piece approach. Wish Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World season 2 wouldn't have gone into hiatus (though i hate watching subtitles).
* MSFT (Bing) Rewards reinstituted that idiotic 15-minute search cool down. Like i'm really going to spend all day online to do stupid searches three at a time. Real organic searches come in bunches, not spread out all over the day. Unless you are completely clueless or stupid (don't know anything without looking it up).
* Only two months until election day. Think about this: if elections really mattered, why would they allow people to decide the outcome? Maybe they don't, maybe they never have.
The illusion of a semblance of control can be enough to pacify the sheep. Do you really have a "voice" if nobody ever listens?
* My old computer becoming functionally challenged is going to lead me to have to redo some files from scratch (like food storage list or stuff i own list). Thought i backed some of it up, was wrong.
