Well it's Groundhog's Day... again. Apparently Punxsutaney Phil saw his shadow. Oh, and I guess there is a football game today (with ads).
So, as a native Cascadian... go Seahawks. I hope you can win to be the first Seattle area team since the 1978- 1979 SuperSonics. I kind of hope Marshawn Lynch wins the MVP (since he hates talking to the press).
So what do I expect from the big money game outside the football game? Disappointment. We'll see since this post is not about expectations so much as it is reactions.
There is one product that I already have cursory interest in... Butterfinger Peanut butter cup things. I like Butterfingers and I like Reese's.
Wow, the Seahawks won (well dominated actually). I didn't think their defense was quite that good (they didn't really need much offense). 43 to 8.
As for the commercials... It was a weak year (and apparently I missed several of them)
Some of my favorites:
* The Doritos Ads (Time Machine and Cowboy Kid)
* Radio Shack (the 80s reference one)
* T_Mobile Tebow ads.
* Hyundai: Nice
Some of the ads took far too long to get to the point (especially the Bob Dylan one). I have never been a fan of the Budweiser Clydesdale ads (i miss the old days when they had talking lizards and frogs). i hated the "America the Beuatiful" Coke ad. The Axe ad was terrible.
