My Surface RT Report: November 2012

Another month has come and gone.  I have been enjoying my MSFT Surface RT tablet. So, how are things going on the Surface front.  The surface may not be lighting retail on fire (allegedly), but did anyone really expect it to with limited distribution channels?  I really liked my Zune and so far I really like my Surface.

* Connection Issues: remarkably, my Surface RT has been connecting to the Arris TG862 for the last couple of days (I probably just jinxed it).

* Available Apps (December 5, 2012 9AM-ish): Total/Free
- Games: 1,822 / 1,364
- Social: 288 / 254
- Entertainment: 1,760 / 1,601
- Photo: 273 / 200
- Music/Video: 421 / 241
- Sports: 359 / 315
- Books/Reference: 1,197 / 664
- News/Weather: 733 / 705
- Health/Fitness: 467 / 358
- Food/Dining: 362 / 300
- Lifestyle: 531 / 485
- Shopping: 89 / 79
- Travel: 482 / 424
- Finance: 155 / 121
- Productivity: 659 / 494
- Tools: 1,216 / 1,049
- Security: 85 / 66
- Business: 184 / 148
- Education: 2,001 / 1,657
- Government: 52 / 43

The total app count on my Surface (English only, etc.) is up to 13,136 (10,568 free).  There are likely duplicate apps (apps across multiple categories).  I would like more Windows Xbox Apps (preferably cheaper than $3).

* I'm still waiting for that pre-paid option MSFT, hurry up.  I promise I would buy more apps if you did (and it was somewhat easily available).

* Pricing for the Pro version has been announced starting from $899.99.

* What apps do I currently have on my Surface RT?
