License Plate Observation Thing

This is a stupid title, but oh well.  A couple (or few months) ago I wondered how many states that I could see license plates from where I currently am.  I seem to have a difficult time identifying some license plates on moving cars (this would also be easier if states didn't have so many variations on their plates).

I might have seen Alabama, but i'm not sure.  It looks like i'm missing the north east and southern states (along with Hawaii).  10 more to go (but probably not).
